One of Australia’s most iconic rock bands, Icehouse, took the stage at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Sunday for the Fire Fight Australia bushfire relief concert. 

And singer Iva Davies, 64, enjoyed a special moment as he shared the spotlight with his son, Evan Davies, 24. 

Iva introduced his son as a a ‘very special guest’ before Evan joined him, playing guitar by his father’s side.

The dad and son duo looked delighted as they rocked out for the ecstatic crowds at the venue. 

The band performed some of their biggest hits including Electric Blue and Great Southern Land.  

Rocker Iva looked cool and comfortable in a fitted, long-sleeved white t-shirt, with floral bands around the cuffs and collar.

He paired the top with a pair of black skinny jeans and wore his white hair in neat, cropped cut, forgoing his once-famous mullet. 

Evan matched his dad in a short-sleeved white shirt worn with jeans and also had his hair worn short.  

The singer and his band had the the crowd jumping up and down to their timeless hits.

The event featured artists including 5 Seconds of Summer, Olivia Newton-John, Michael Buble, Alice Cooper, Baker Boy, Conrad Sewell, Daryl Braithwaite, Delta Goodrem, Illy, Grinspoon, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods and k.d. lang. 

Less than 24 hours after they were released, promoters TEG Dainty confirmed that all 70,000 tickets, which cost between $70 and $100, were sold out.

Ticket profits from the event will go to several organisations assisting those affected by the recent bushfires including fire services, Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery, and the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal.
