He’s back! VERY excited Jack Russells leap all over their owner at airport arrivals lounge after 11 days away

  • Unnamed man travelled for 11 days across nine countries before arriving home
  • His Jack Russell twins were at Tenerife South Airport, in Spain, to greet him
  • The dog lover talked to his overexcited pets while they clambered all over him

The owner of two Jack Russells was so excited to be reunited with his dogs when they met him at the airport he got down on the floor to fuss them.

The unnamed man had travelled for 11 days across nine countries when he returned to his dogs Archie and Bella, 4.5 years old, at Tenerife South Airport, Spain.

They were brought to the airport’s arrivals gate where they waited for their owner to come through the doors on Sunday, January 19.

The dogs were on high alert with their ears sticking up in the air as they heard their owner whistle to them.

Both set off at speed to greet him as he wheeled his trolley, piled high with black suitcases, towards them.

He then bent down to fuss his dogs while wheeling his bags out of the way of other travellers, before dropping down to sit on the arrivals hall floor.

‘Daddy’s back. Daddy’s back. Yes he is,’ he crooned to the overexcited dogs as they jumped around him and licked his face.

A woman behind the camera said: ‘I think they’re pleased to see him don’t you.’

Talking about the experience the man said: ‘I never get tired of the welcome home. These are my two dogs who, as you can see, adore their dad as much as he loves them.

‘A great example of unconditional love and a reminder why our dogs are our best friends no matter what.

‘It’s ironic that it takes a dog to touch the part of us that supersedes judgement and brings out the best in what it means to be human.’
