This is the shocking moment a motorist swerves across multiple lanes on the M25 before crashing into the back of a lorry.

The driver’s reckless manoeuvres were filmed by the vehicle behind it as they drove along the road near to junction 13 in Surrey.

He drives straight into the back of a HGV and rapidly brakes, sending plumes of smoke pour out from the tyres.

The clip shows the blue car swaying into the lane on its left, inches away from the vehicle behind it.

The passengers in the vehicle, who are filming the terrifying driving, exclaim: ‘Where are you going mate?’

He then sways back towards the right as his wheel goes over the white line separating the lanes.

A passenger in the vehicle following him says: ‘I thought he was going to go into someone.’

The car moves back to the slow lane for a second time but drives straight into the back of an M&S lorry.

A man exclaims: ‘He’s done it. Absolute idiot. Absolute f****** idiot.’

The vehicle pulls up alongside the driver whose airbags have inflated.

One man urges the filmer not to loose his temper and says ‘don’t shout’ as they wind their window down.

The car continues to roll along the hard shoulder and a significant dent can be seen in the bonnet.

One man says: ‘He’s not even going to brake. Idiot.’
