Thousands of people apply to be on Married At First Sight every year.
But it appears that the cast of the upcoming seventh season may have had a helping hand from their famous friends when it came to the application process.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that a handful of this year’s stars have very surprising connections to the season six cast, who have been offering them advice.

But the businessman doesn’t hold a grudge, telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘Best of luck to her. I hope she has more luck on the show than I did.’
