Dec commented: ‘It was hilarious, I don’t think he knew what he had gotten himself into.

‘We gave him the ear piece and said, “Do you promise to say and do everything we tell you to do?” And he replied, “By the end of this you’ll be doing everything that I tell you to say and do”!’

It was also revealed that boxing champion Anthony Joshua and artist Craig David will also feature in Get Out Of Me Ear this series.

Plus there will be a hidden camera prank on children where Ant and Dec are disguised as pandas at London Zoo.

Ant said: ‘The magic of it is that these kids believe the pandas can talk and so they talk back to us.’

The men spoke about their close friendship and Ant said: ‘We’re still best mates, still go out together, still socialise together.’

Dec added: ‘This year, we would have been working together for 30 years. We started out when we were 14 on Byker Grove.’

Ant concluded: ‘We’re just grateful, we learn to be in moment and enjoy what we’re doing. More grateful now than we have been.’
