Former Celebrity Big Brother star Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, via surrogate.
The couple announced their baby joy via Instagram, with Shilpa, 44, telling fans that the newborn has ‘completed our family’.
She shared the first picture of her daughter to social media and revealed the baby’s name, Samisha Shetty Kundra, who arrived on 15 February.

In the heartwarming snap, Shilpa kept her baby daughter’s face from view and instead captured her clutching onto her mum’s finger while wearing a sweet bunny rabbit babygrow.
Shilpa captioned the photo with a lengthy message that read: ‘Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah. Our prayers have been answered with a miracle…

The Bollywood actress then went onto explain the meaning behind her daughter’s name, adding: ‘”Sa” in Sanskrit is “to have”, and “Misha” in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family.

Shilpa and husband Raj married in 2009. The are also parents to son Viaan Raj who was born in May 2012, three years after the couple tied the knot.
She gave birth to Viaan when she was 37 years old and previously said she hadn’t planned to become a mother in her late thirties.
‘I never chose to be a mother at 37. I always wanted to be a mother at the right age, but I didn’t find Raj at the right time. There is a time for everything, and so also for motherhood,’ Shilpa said in a previous interview, reports The Hindustan Times.
‘Medically too, women should have babies at the right time. I just didn’t have a choice else I would have been a mother long time back.’

Jade had entered the house with her mother Jackiey Budden and boyfriend Jack Tweed. Jackiey clashed with Shilpa in the house and claimed she was ‘unable to pronounce’ her name.
Following Jackiey’s eviction, Shilpa was subjected to racist remarks and verbal abuse from the other housemates, with Jade referring to Shilpa as ‘Shilpa Poppadom’.
Jade later apologised for her actions, but was forced to go without a studio audience in attendance when she was evicted, due to the number of complaints the reality show had received.

Shilpa went on to win the series and said to Davina McCall in her winner’s interview: ‘People make mistakes and we all learn from them. But I can say one thing for sure, Jade didn’t mean to be racist. She isn’t a racist.’
Jade later made an appearance on India’s version of Big Brother, Big Boss, in 2008, which was where she learned of her cervical cancer diagnosis.
It’s believed Jade and Shilpa made peace with one another before Jade died in March 2009, aged 27.
Channel 4 aired a documentary last year, titled Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain, which revisited her Celebrity Big Brother appearance with Shilpa.
In the documentary, Jade’s mum Jackiey revealed that the reality star thought her cancer diagnosis was a punishment for her actions on CBB.
Jade is survived by her two sons, Bobby, 16, and Freddie, 15, who she shares with Jeff Brazier.
