A teenager has shared the hilariously scathing response she was sent by a man after she turned him down for a date just a day after they started speaking.
Emily Charlotte, a college student who wants to go to Manchester University, took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the message she’d received from a boy named Joe, didn’t take kindly to being told no.
During the course of a lengthy paragraph he told her she was too young for him, not tall enough and had her head in the clouds.
He wrote: ‘It doesn’t matter. Tbf I can’t deal with someone 2 years younger than me, dossing at collage, dreaming of going to uni in Manchester, and living on the internet.
‘What I am after is someone supportive that is down to earth, with her head out of the clouds and probably a bit taller.’

However, Joe did throw a grudging compliment her way by admitting that her music taste was ‘okay’.
But it was soon back to insults as he took a shot at rock band Arctic Monkey’s latest album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
‘Arctic Monkey’s new album is whack therefore f*** you,’ he penned.
Emily captioned the screenshot: ‘This is what i get for saying i’m not interested in a boy after speaking to them for one day…. when I tell you I laughed.’

In the comments she joked with her friends that she is actually 5ft 6in and ‘not even short’.

Twitter users streamed into comments to tell her she’d had a lucky escape, while others noticed that Joe had a few faults of his own.

To which Emily replied, ‘And I’m the dosser apparently.’
