‘Accident prone’ Diddy shares video right before surgery as he reveals he has a torn quad


He is a mogul, rapper, and executive with a net worth of $855 million.

And though Diddy seemingly has it all, one thing he does not have is a good sense of balance.

The 50-year-old – real name Sean Combs – A-lister took to his Instagram to share various videos before getting surgery.

He had a blue bouffant cap on as he revealed that he was ‘accident prone’ and tore his quad.

Diddy explained: ‘Hey what’s up guys, I have a confession to make. Um, I… I’m probably one of — I used to be not any more — one of the most accident prone people in the world. 

‘Yes, I’m accident prone… I’m clumsy, I trip, I fall, I fall in holes. It’s always been like that.’ 

The former boyfriend of Jennifer Lopez divulged that this was actually his fourth surgery in two years.

He admitted: ‘ I’ve had two rotator cuffs, a knee replacement, and now it’s on quad. At the end of the day this is God’s work to slow me down and take better care of body and ya know, eat right and just stop treating my body like a machine.’

Due to the emergency procedure, Diddy was forced to cancel his party at The Midway in San Francisco on Friday evening.

He said: ‘If you guys are wondering where I’m at, I’m about to get surgery on my quad. I just found out yesterday, they squeezed me in for today. 

‘I need to say to everybody in San Francisco, I won’t be able to make it tonight. Pray for ya boy, I’m gonna see you all next time and make it up y’all. Everyone at Midway, sorry I couldn’t make it.’

The audition process is about to begin and Diddy wants to be part of the competition program every step of the way as he explained in another Instagram video: ‘I made a very, very important decision for Making The Band.

‘You know the show is coming back. We have our first auditions in Atlanta next weekend okay. I’m going to be watching and judging from my bed at home. I am sending the Combs Cartel down there.’

The reboot, which premieres in 2020, is also partnering with music performance app Smule for a Making the Band campaign, which provides a curated playlist of songs for fans to create video auditions.

Diddy took over in 2002 with Making the Band 2, when the show moved to MTV and pivoted to hip hop.

Each version of the show ran for three seasons, each documenting the formation of a different music group, the most notable of which was girl group Danity Kane.

In 2009, Diddy starred in the spin-off Making His Band, which followed the rapper as he assembled his own personal live band.
