Blue took home Outstanding Duo/Group for Brown Skin Girl, which she shared with mom, Saint Jhn and Wizkid.

Blue has vocals featured on the track from The Lion King: The Gift, as well as a writing credit.

It comes after the youngster reached her first spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in July, the track debuting at No. 76 when she was still only seven.

Beyonce, 38, was the big winner at the non-televised gala, winning six awards, including Outstanding Female Artist and Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album for The Gift.

Blue accompanied her mom to the red carpet premiere of The Lion King back in July.

Mrs. Carter voiced Nala in the live-action adaptation, which recently earned nominations at the Academy Awards, the Grammy Awards and the Golden Globes.

A source previously told People: ‘It might seem like her career would take up all her time, but it’s quite the opposite.

‘Her career is always second and her kids are her first priority. She is a fantastic mom and very involved.’

They added: ‘Of course both Beyoncé and Blue love music. Blue loves singing, dancing and performing. She is a natural.’
