Married At First Sight fans mock Tash Herz’s cringey letter to bride Amanda Micallef

Amanda Micallef and Tash Herz split during an emotional commitment ceremony on Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight. 

And fans were less than impressed when Tash decided to read an emotional letter to her bride before they parted ways. 

Many took to Twitter to voice their distaste, with one writing: ‘This letter is the most effort Tash has put into this whole experience’. 

Another person watching at home chimed in: ‘Tash: “I wrote you a letter”. Was it the letter F?’ 

Someone else joked about the emotional tome:  ‘Surprised Tash had the energy to lift a pen’. 

One cynical viewer wrote: ‘Tash: I wrote you a letter. I don’t know if you want to hear it but I would like to read it (to increase my airtime and still have a vague chance at a blue Instagram tick even though I’m going home)’. 

Another person thought it might not have been her idea, writing: ‘Aka the producers asked me to write a letter’. 

Others were bored by the whole exchange, with one Tweeting: ‘Was hoping Tash had read the letter in the ad break’.

Multiple fans joked that Tash may discuss her diet in the note, with one writing:  ‘Hopefully this letter explains why she is a vegan’. 

Tash’s letter read: ‘Amanda, I don’t think either of us could have foreseen exactly what has transpired between us over the last three weeks. 

‘I want to thank you for having a good heart, for sharing the story of your upbringing with me, for taking my hand at the wedding when I was about to melt into the ground with nerves. 

‘Thank you for making the effort with my family and friends, thank you for not judging me on my past, thank you for being quiet while I spoke when I know you didn’t want to. All I want is for us to hold nothing but kindness to each other. 

‘Regardless of everything, I hope you get everything that you want and deserve.’
