Married At First Sight’s Steve Burley and Mishel Karen sat through a very awkward commitment ceremony on Sunday, as she revealed his list of things she was ‘banned’ from doing.

But it seems the tension in the room was worse than originally thought, with viewers noticing an awkward exchange between Steve and his co-star Natasha Spencer.

Eagle-eyed fans clocked Steve, 51, staring daggers at Natasha after she leaned over him to give his ‘wife’ a reassuring pat on the leg.

The moment happened after the pair’s session with the relationship experts, as Steve and a tearful Mishel sat back down with the other couples.

The gesture of solidarity between the two women left Steve fuming and he appeared to say something under his breath that shocked Natasha.

Twitter soon erupted with commentary about the awkward encounter.
