Pussycat Dolls fail to realise their performance has started as One Show suffers MAJOR glitch

The Pussycat Dolls were caught up in an awkward technical blunder on Wednesday night, during a live performance on BBC’s The One Show.

The quintet were appearing on the evening magazine show to perform their new single React, but failed to realise their track had began playing – missing their cues and standing on stage, backs turned.

The girl group – led by frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger, 41 – stood ready to go, facing away from the audience, when One Show host Matt Baker announced them.

The music began, albeit at a low volume, and well into the first verse the ladies remained with their backs turned.

The delay caused Jessica Sutta to turn and look at her fellow singers, all wondering what was happening.

After a painfully long time, the track cut out – with Matt having to step in and re-introduce the group.

The music then came on again, on full volume, and the performance was able to commence.

The band – which also features Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt – were then able to get on with it like the consummate professionals they are.

Viewers took to Twitter to weigh in on the matter, of course.

‘Oh dear. Someone on the #oneshow will get there arse booted by the #pussycatdolls for that blooper!’ one person commented.
