Hair-raising moment out-of-control drone crashes into woman’s head and gets tangled in her long locks

  • Holly Dewick filmed her boyfriend and sister playing with a new drone
  • The pair lost control of the flying device as it shot off straight at Holly’s head
  • It got tangled up in her hair, forcing the trio to pick it out again carefully

This is the hair-raising moment an out-of-control drone being flown by a first-timer crashes into a woman’s head and gets tangled up in her hair.

Video filmed by Holly Dewick, 21, shows boyfriend Tom Godoy-Whiston, also 21, and sister Rosie, 19, playing with a new drone at home in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

The pair are seen tentatively flying the hand-controlled device, when it suddenly hurtles towards Holly as Rosie loses control of the drone.

Shocked Rosie and Tom look on in horror as Holly is heard squealing with amused fright, before the trio carefully pick it out of her hair.

Holly said: ‘So my sister bought Tom a drone for his birthday.

‘She thought it would be a good idea to have a go.

‘I was filming her and it went straight into my hair. It took about half an hour to get it out and some of my hair came out with it.’

The video was filmed on February 12.
