Meet your new beauty heroes

Attention, shoppers: this is an important announcement!

These are the launches I’m loving – and I know you will too

Attention, beauty shoppers, attention please: this is an important announcement! The latest top picks will be arriving (or may well already be) on counters shortly. Please make your way in an orderly fashion – or get ready to beat the competition – to check out the following…

1 Erborian BB Crayon With Ginseng (£23, uk.erborian.com). This is the brand’s cult complexion-boosting BB cream in stick form, which is so much easier for on-the-go touch-ups (and when battling liquid allowances on planes). This works for everything from evening out skin tone to concealing spots. There are four shades, and the darkest, Caramel, is also great as a contour for lighter skin tones.

2 M&S Beauty Pure Ultimate Cleanse Hot Cloth Cleanser (£12, marksandspencer.com). This reformulated range is now vegan and made with 95 per cent natural ingredients. It smells good and contains omega-rich camelina oil to hydrate.

3 Tom Ford Rose Prick Eau de Parfum (£218 for 50ml, tomford.co.uk). Expensive, I know, but Tom Ford will always be that way. A really enveloping and almost inappropriately saucy rose fragrance with a dash of fiery sichuan pepper and spicy turmeric. Unequivocally sexy stuff.

4 Chantecaille Hummingbird Quartet (£68, spacenk.com). This limited edition contains a very flattering combination of shades – most have some kind of shimmer or metallic finish, but it’s subtle. And the hummingbird design makes the palette covetable in its own right, though sadly it is not refillable.

5 L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum (£24.99, boots.com). Already a top seller in the US, this contains two weights of hyaluronic acid – a macro for the surface and a micro to go deeper – to maintain the skin’s moisture levels.

6 Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub (£34, cultbeauty.co.uk). The first skincare product from Huda Kattan – the woman behind the Huda Beauty make-up line – this complexion booster is super-fast and easy to use (just once or twice a week). It deploys pineapple and papaya enzymes for brightness and clarity, AHAs and BHAs for gentle chemical exfoliation, plus cellulose (an organic plant compound) to gently remove dead skin cells.

7 Maybelline Cheek Heat Sheer Gel-Cream Blush (£8.99, nationwide). I can always have my head turned by a great new blush, and this is my latest love. A lot of information is in its name, but the effect is a light wash of colour that blends well and is easily buildable.

8 Dior Forever Skin Correct (£25, debenhams.com). This fantastic concealer comes with a sponge-tip applicator and has real stretch, so it gives great cover, looks very natural, is long-lasting and feels as though you have nothing on your skin. Use it under eyes or on targeted areas of the face. Available in 30 shades.

9 Essie ExprEssie Quick Dry Nail Varnish in Bolt & Be Bold (£7.99, boots.com). I love this shade: a classic red, but tinged with a hint of saffron that lends it an air of sultry escapism. Plus it’s quick-drying, and has a brush that can be used with either hand.

10 Ouai Chill Pills (£25 for six, net-a-porter.com). These bath bombs, with jojoba (hydrating) and hemp (calming) seed oils and a jasmine and rose fragrance, offer a fast track to relaxation. Dip in and tune out.
