Laura Byrne welcomed her daughter Marlie-Mae with fiancé Matty ‘J’ Johnson in June 2019.

And on Sunday, the young family enjoyed the great outdoors and got back to nature with a hike through the bush. 

The 33-year-old shared two photos from the day out to Instagram, with all three beaming among the trees.

Matty, 32, carried his daughter on his back in a baby carrier, but looked delighted despite the load. 

Marlie was determined to nap in all that fresh air, and slept through the walk before being placed on the ground to finish her snooze in the carrier. 

Laura, who went makeup free in the pictures, captioned the post: ‘It’s a special kind of magic seeing your child outside enjoying nature’.

It comes after former Bachelor star Laura revealed the secrets to her incredible post-baby body are all down to going for a stroll. 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the accessories designer said she keeps fit by exercising and taking her baby girl for a walk.  

‘I have signed up to Fitness First which has a crèche onsite so I can nick in do a 45 minute workout while Marlie is being looked after’, she said.

She explained: ‘It’s really wonderful having 45 minutes to myself to get a work out in but also knowing Marlie is so close by.’

She continued: ‘I also think walking is one of the things you can do as a new mum, it’s great to get out of the house with bub in the pram and get some fresh air.’
