Only Fools And Horses fans forked out close to £400 over the weekend for a chance to pose for a photo with sitcom star Sir David Jason.

The 80-year-old actor was in attendance at the David Jason & Friends event in London over the weekend, which offered fans the opportunity to visit the reconstructed set from the show.

Only Fools And Horses buffs were welcomed into Del Boy’s flat – but coughed up £375 to have a photo with the star of the erstwhile series.

The event offered a cheaper option as well – £55 for a snap in the flat without Sir David, or £255, to have a photo with Sir David but not his autograph.

Those wanting an autograph as well shelled out another £120 for the pleasure.

Despite the hiked up prices, the event drew in the punters, selling out almost immediately when it was first advertised last year, even crashing the website.

A Q&A also took place at the event – marking the first time Sir David has attended an Only Fools And Horses convention.

The actor – worth around £7million – selected Diabetes UK as the charity some of the proceeds were donated to.

Among the fans present were boxer Ricky Hatton, who posted snaps of him and Sir David online, captioning this: ‘Met one of my heroes today. Sir David Jason (Del Boy). Absolutely made up!’
