Landing strip: Lufthansa pilot draws a VERY rude image as he prepares to land his jet in Germany

  • Flight LH350 circled above Bremen in a diversion which left a striking route map
  • The Airbus A320 looped back on itself several times after arriving from Frankfurt
  • Lufthansa insisted the rude-looking flight path was ‘completely coincidental’

A Lufthansa pilot caused hilarity yesterday after after steering his plane on a very rude-looking flight path in Germany.

Flight LH350 circled above Bremen yesterday morning in a diversion that left an unusual route map – which the airline insists was ‘completely coincidental’.

After flying over the airport, the Airbus A320 looped back on itself twice before heading eastward, then doubling back to complete the phallic outline.

Air traffic website FlightRadar24 shared a picture of the flight path on Twitter, confirming its authenticity.

The rude-looking flight path of LH350 in the moments before it landed in Bremen yesterday – after the Airbus A320 circled over the city in the north of Germany

‘LH350 landed on second landing attempt’, the flight tracking website remarked yesterday morning.

The plane had arrived from Frankfurt on an early-morning flight, finally landing in Bremen at around 7.45am.

One Twitter user who saw the picture commented: ‘So they c***ed up their first pass?’.

Another joked: ‘Landing a plane is HARDER than people think’.

A Lufthansa spokesman insisted to German media that the flight path was ‘completely coincidental’.

‘There are no hidden messages’, the spokesman told regional news outlet Hessenschau, blaming winds for the diversion.

In 2017, the US Navy was forced to apologise after two pilots deliberately drew a giant penis in the sky with their plane’s contrails.

The giant symbol was visible from the ground in Washington state, where the pilots had taken off from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

The pair were reprimanded after an investigating officer said the stunt had ’caused the United States Navy severe embarrassment in the public arena’.

The same year, an RAF pilot left plane enthusiasts shocked after mapping out a similarly rude image over Lincolnshire.

Similar efforts have appeared over Florida and Sweden in the past.
