A helicopter landed in a university car park to deliver a forgotten bag to a student in South Africa.

Footage of the bizarre school-run to the North West University’s Vaal campus at Vanderbijlpark south of Johannesburg was filmed on Friday last week.

The student collects his bag from the chopper – while its helicopter blades are still whirring – as amazed students watch on.

A student casually ambles towards a helicopter, parked across multiple spaces, to collect his bag at the North West University’s Vaal campus at Vanderbijlpark

In the clip, the helicopter can be seen parked across multiple spaces, just a few yards away from other parked cars.

The student casually ambles towards the whirring chopper – believed to be a  Robinson R44 Raven – as someone exclaims: ‘Ok sure, I think he forgot his bag.

As the man ducks, the bag is pushed out of the helicopter door. He grabs it and walks away.

The filmer exclaims: ‘F****** chopper came to deliver his f****** bag. Who the f*** is he. Guys, guys wait who is he?’

She shouts louder: ‘Who the f*** are you?’

Without a backwards glance, the man slowly makes his way back into university.

The camera then points back to the chopper as the filmer exclaims: ‘Dude, I am losing my mind. I am losing my f****** mind.’

The helicopter then lifts up from the ground and soars away.

Another student told a local newspaper: ‘How cool is that! This guy is saying his parents, rather than drive to the uni, just decided to fly over all the traffic!

‘Trouble is if he forgets his coursework again he will have no excuses for not getting it on time as his tutors will know all about his whirlybird.’
