Kris Smith says his daughter Frankie ‘wasn’t planned’ after he and girlfriend Sarah Boulazeris used an old wives’ tale for contraception
Model Kris Smith is a proud father of two beautiful daughters; Mila, one, and Frankie, two months.
But on Thursday, the 41-year-old revealed on The Morning Show he and partner Sarah Boulazeris didn’t plan to have their children only ’53 weeks apart’.
‘Frankie wasn’t actually planned,’ the Myer ambassador admitted with a laugh.

He told hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur that he and Sarah thought they were protected from pregnancy after they believed in a common old wives’ tale.
‘We honestly thought you couldn’t get pregnant while breastfeeding,’ he admitted.
Last month while on a family holiday to Byron Bay, Kris joked that he thought having young kids was his best contraception.

Taking to Instagram, Kris shared a lovely photo of himself snuggling in bed with Sarah and the girls.
‘At this resort last year Frankie was conceived,’ Kris wrote.
He added cheekily: ‘This year we took extra precautions… Kids really are the best contraceptive.’

The couple announced the arrival of their daughter Frankie, on December 13.
Kris wrote in the caption at the time: ‘Yesterday 12.12.19 all of our Christmas wishes came true, we introduced our healthy baby girl Frankie Elle Smith into the world.’
He added: ‘Sarah you were a complete rock as always, you amaze me everyday… thank you for another precious gift I love you beyond words.
‘All the staff at @theroyalwomens thank you so much for all your hard work, not just for us but for everyone you help.
‘We’re so in love. The Smiths,’ he ended the post.
The British model is also father to nine-year-old son Ethan, who he shares with ex-partner Dannii Minogue.
