Christine broke down in tears during an emotional Instagram post on Friday, after a difficult morning caring for her three autistic children.

The wife of presenter Paddy McGuinness, 31, told fans that she wanted to show it’s not always ‘fine and lovely’ looking after children with autism, and insisted they’re still doing ‘brilliant’ despite a rocky start to the day.

Christine and Paddy have spoken openly about being parents to their three children Leo and Penelope, six, and Felicity, three, who have all been diagnosed with autism.

Earlier in the day the star had broken down in tears as she admitted that morning had been difficult.

In the posts, Christine wiped a tear from her eyes as she told her fans: ‘Hello I don’t want to bring anyone’s mood down, but I just want to show the reality of being a mum of autistic children.’

Removing her sunglasses it was clear that the star had been through an emotional morning, as she continued: ‘Sometimes it’s not fun, today was just a really bad morning, I know it will be fine later but this is what you don’t see.

‘I am fine and I’m upset for my children, this was just a bad morning, and I’ll have a good day, it’s just sometimes it’s not always fun.’

Christine went onto clarify that her three children were all doing well, but it wasn’t always ‘fine and lovely,’ trying to care for them.

She added: ‘I don’t want to bring anyone down I just think it’s important to show it’s not always fine and lovely and they’re all doing great and they are, they’re all doing brilliant, but it’s hard, but it’s b****y hard.’

As she dried her eyes, Christine reassured fans that she would feel better in a few hours after a ‘cup of tea and a blowdry,’ in preparation for a night out with her female pals.

Laughing through her tears, the star said: ‘You won’t even recognise me! I’m gonna have a whole transformation. I’m gonna look fabulous later.’

It comes after Christine emotionally revealed she has no one to talk to after she discovering that her youngest daughter, Felicity has autism three years after her twins were diagnosed.

Christine admitted that her ‘heart breaks for all her children’ but that Felicity and twins – Penelope and Leo, inspire her every day.

The model also revealed that Paddy found Felicity’s autism hard after he previously admitted that he is ‘never happy in himself’ since their twins were diagnosed.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Christine said it was ‘heartbreaking’ but clarified that it didn’t mean Paddy wasn’t happy with her or the children.

She explained: ‘There’s no time for us as a couple, no quality time, no date nights. Not even time to have a laugh together.

‘We’re full-time carers and the kids come before everything. But we have to stay strong as a unit for our kids.’
