Caprice Bourret stuns in a plunging pastel blue midi dress as she receives Celeb Mum of the Year award on International Women’s Day

She was recently embroiled in a feud with ex Dancing On Ice partner Hamish Gaman.

But Caprice Bourret put the drama aside as she received her MIBA Award for Celeb Mum of the Year in London on Sunday.

The mother-of-two, 48, looked radiant as she donned a plunging pastel-blue midi dress which boasted intricate lace detailing with a mesh corset and short-sleeves.

She wore her golden locks in long tumbling waves for the ceremony where she took to the stage to receive a trophy and certificate.

In her acceptance speech Caprice said that she could not think of a better place to be on International Women’s Day.

Caprice has two six-year-old sons, Jeff and Jax, who were born just weeks apart despite one being carried by a surrogate.

The ceremony comes after Caprice was forced to pull out of Dancing on Ice following a bullying row with skating partner Hamish – despite being tipped to make the final.

The pair hit the headlines when they suddenly split back in January.

Caprice was reportedly left too scared to speak during Dancing on Ice training after Hamish enforced a ‘three strikes and you’re out rule’ if she didn’t do exactly what he said – making her feel like mistakes were not allowed.

She was then put into an alternative pairing with Oscar Peter but subsequently decided to quit the ITV series altogether to ‘recover and look after herself and her family’.

Hamish later told Hello! magazine that he was moving on from the drama after deciding to tie the knot with fiancée Amelia in December who he met on Tinder four years ago.

He said: ‘I’ve known for a long time that I want to spend the rest of my life with Amelia but what I’ve been through made me keen to make that commitment to her sooner than we’d anticipated.

‘For the past few months I’ve been in a dark place which I couldn’t have got through without her.

‘Recent events have made me realise just how much I love her. Planning our wedding together has brought light to the darkness.

‘Without Amelia I don’t know what I would have done.

‘When you’re in the public eye, you expect to read and hear gossip about yourself, but I never thought it would affect my mental health as much as it did.

‘I found it hard to sleep and eat, and would wake up with anxiety. Amelia has been my absolute rock.’
