The Dancing On Ice 2020 finale kicked off on Sunday night with paralympian Libby Clegg and her pro partner Mark Hanretty axed from the show first, coming in third place overall.
This left Perri Kiely and Vanessa Bauer to compete for the prize against Joe Swash and Alex Murphy.
Host Holly Willoughby wowed in a sparkling dress, looked to be inspired by Disney’s Frozen and a bridal gown.

She was of course joined by co-host Phillip Schofield who wore an all-black tuxedo, as they welcomed the class of 2020 back to the show.
All previous celebs were seen watching from the balcony – apart from Caprice Bourret who was noticeably absent, having been mired by scandal since her unceremonial exit from the series.
Holly stunned in the sparkling number which featured a corset top, sheer sleeves and a cascading floor-length skirt. She wore her icy blonde locks in a cropped ‘do, styled in light waves and matched the look with sparkling make-up.

First to skate was Joe and his pro partner Alex.
Joe had suffered a fall, resulting in a head injury which affected his ear – causing him to spend the week of rehearsals skating around with a bandage wrapped around his face, branding himself ‘a nun’ at one point.
Nonetheless, the former-EastEnders actor took to the rink to open the show on Sunday, earning himself 10/10 across the board with a Charlie Chaplin/silent movie-themed routine with Alex.

‘Nobody would have skated, performed and brought that to life better than you,’ judge Ashley Banjo commented, as Jayne Torvill echoed: ‘It was the perfect character for you, you brought it to life, perfect timing.’
John Barrowman said: ‘The storytelling was absolutely fabulous!’
Next up was Perri and pro Vanessa who skated a street-dance-inspired piece – featuring backflips.
Again, it received a sweep of 10s from the judges with Ashley commenting that he had ‘guts’ to do it live on TV.

‘That back-flip was one of the most exciting things I’ve seen on the ice!’ gushed Olympic skater Jayne, as Christopher Dean said: ‘That was very dangerous. Your ability astounds me!’
John added: ‘That was down, dope, wavy, cray-cray, breezy!’
Libby was up next with partner Mark, performing a tribute to her career as a paralympian, also scoring 40/40.
Libby explained that she’d been holding in emotion all week but wanted to thank Jayne and Christopher for their support as fellow-Olympic stars and now ice skating mentors.

Jayne couldn’t reply, asking the camera not to focus on her as she held back sobs.
Christopher remarked that he was proud to see Libby competing on International Womens’ Day, while, through tears, John commented: ‘That was stunning to watch you live your life like that. You’re a woman who never gives up.’
The three couples then re-performed their favourite routines from the series, again being dished out full marks left, right and centre.
The class of 2020 – minus Caprice – were interviewed, with Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt asked about their wedding plans, having met and got engaged on the show within just a couple of weeks.
‘It’s baby steps!’ pro footballer Kevin said, with everyone thinking they were already announcing that they were expecting a child together!
