  • Adorable footage shows Labrador Retriever puppies cosying up for nap time
  • At first two pups have some room to themselves – but that soon changes
  • Five manage to squeeze in before a sixth decides to jump in on the fun
  • California breeder Laurie Soloski encourages the golden pups throughout

How many Labrador Retriever puppies can you fit in a single bucket?

Thankfully, that question has been answered by a gleeful California breeder’s adorable video.

At first two pups are fitting quite comfortably in a bowl as they prepare for a nap.

There’s a second bucket available, but instead their siblings are piling in with them and what little space there was is quickly filled up with fluffy little paws.

It’s a struggle to get all five in, but soon the shallow bucket is full to bursting.

Laurie Soloski, who owns Kentfield Kennels Labrador Retrievers in Sebastopol, California, with her husband Ted, can be heard to say: ‘Well five of you got in. Good puppies.’

As the experienced breeder speaks, the curious pups all turn at once to listen, to which she responds: ‘Oh hello, hello. It’s after dinner nap time’.

Refusing to be left out of the bundle, a sixth golden pooch piles in – jumping on top of its brothers and sisters.

But soon enough their brothers and sisters want to cuddle up too. Three manage to get in with ease while two more try and make room. A sixth can be seen waiting for his moment
