Married At First Sight’s Mishel Karen has made some interesting claims about returning bride Elizabeth Sobinoff.
The mother-of-two, 49, told the Not Here to Make Friends podcast on Wednesday that the returning bride, 28, was being fed instructions from producers via an earpiece.
Mishel apparently confronted Elizabeth about the device at Wednesday’s dinner party – but the scene wasn’t included in the final edit.
‘We were so suss about the way she wore her hair’: Married At First Sight’s Mishel Karen claimed returning bride Elizabeth Sobinoff was fed instructions by producers via earpiece in the Not Here to Make Friends podcast on Wednesday
Mishel claimed that she and Michael Goonan had suspected Elizabeth was wearing an earpiece because of the way she styled her hair for dinner parties and commitment ceremonies.
‘We were just so suss because of the way she wore her hair and she never [normally] wears her hair over that ear,’ she said.
The Brisbane-based police worker was also skeptical when Elizabeth effusively praised the show and its relationship experts.
‘We actually didn’t like the fact that she told us, “This is a one-off experience, you are so lucky to have this and whatever,”‘ she said.

Mishel went on to reveal that the relationship experts – John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Dr. Trisha Stratford – were fed lines by producers at the commitment ceremonies
‘The experts don’t speak for themselves. They have an [earpiece] in their ear, and we can hear, because it’s so silent on set,’ she said.
‘We can actually hear people feeding them lines.’
