Jordyn Woods ‘taking advantage’ of Abu Dhabi waiting for the ‘first flight’ home due to coronavirus


Jordyn Woods isn’t letting fears over coronavirus stop her from having a great time on vacation and is ‘taking advantage’ of her holiday in Abu Dhabi while waiting for the first flight back to the US.

The 22-year-old influencer is being forced to cut her trip short amid panic over the spread of the global pandemic, but until she can board a flight home, Jordyn is living it up on holiday.

She headed out clubbing and spent a day at the beach with mom Elizabeth and younger sister Jodie, sharing photos and videos on Instagram on Thursday and Friday.

Explaining to her fans on Instagram Jordyn penned: ‘First available flight for us isn’t for a couple of days so I’m taking full advantage & enjoying this view’  

Jordyn modeled a yellow bikini in turquoise waters and snapped sultry seflies while sunning herself on the shores of the Persian Gulf.

Later, she dined with her family at a swanky restaurant which served several decadent courses with many prepared tableside. 

The UAE, like many countries, is currently dealing with the outbreak of coronavirus with 74 confirmed cases of the illness as of March 10, according to the World Health Organization.

While governments the world over are recommending social distancing and banning large gatherings, Jordyn felt safe enough to head out for a night of clubbing in the capital city. 

Woods touched down in the country on Tuesday and took to seeing the sights with her younger sister and mom, sharing snaps on social media.

‘Dubai is one of the coolest cities I’ve been to so far,’ she gushed. ‘Stopped by the Burj Khalifa today, which is the tallest building in the world (almost 3000 ft tall)’

Global panic: Earlier, Jordyn told her followers that she might have to 'come home early' from the United Arab Emirates as the coronavirus continues to spread around the world

On Thursday, the former KUWTK star and and her family donned black head scarves for a visit to the city’s famed Grand Mosque, which appeared to be empty.

She responded to some commenters who complained that her selfies in the Abaya, a traditional Islamic outfit, who in appropriate. 

Writing on Instagram: ‘For those of you that don’t know in order to enter the Mosque you must wear an Abaya. It was such an amazing experience getting to see the beauty of another culture. The view from my hotel though, is everything.’

She might have to leave her swanky hotel early, however, which she explained in her Insta Story.

Woods later took to her Instagram story to explain that she would likely be forced to cut her trip short: 'I may have to end this trip early and come home because this virus is getting out of hand.'

The World Health Organization officially declared the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, as a global pandemic on Wednesday. 

Meanwhile President Donald Trump announced a travel ban to and from Europe which would take effect on Friday. 

American citizens, people with green cards and the immediate family members of those aforementioned would be exempt and could return home, getting screened for the illness upon arrival. 

The United Kingdom is also exempt from the ban.
