Sunrise weatherman Sam ‘Sam Mac’ McMillan revealed he was in a relationship on live television this week.
And after his co-stars joked the mystery woman wasn’t real, he has finally shared a loved-up photo with his new girlfriend, Elle Whittaker.
The Seven personality, 37, was all smiles as he cuddled up to the blonde Qantas communications adviser for the sweet Instagram upload.

‘Life news: I have a Girlfriend. This is Elle. She’s from The Coast. She rides a motorbike and she loves sharks,’ he proudly began in his caption.
‘I ride a pogo stick and I love cats, so we’re perfect together.
‘I think she’s pretty special….in fact, I’m as into her as much as the lady in the background is into that hot chip,’ Sam joked.
He asked his followers to ‘be nice to Elle’, before adding: ‘PS- This better get a lot of likes, I could’ve made $17 selling our first photo to Woman’s Day.’

It comes after Sam admitted he was actually in a happy relationship after being forced to wear a sandwich board that said he was ‘looking for love’ for a segment on the breakfast show.
‘I’ve got to be honest with you guys. I actually have a girlfriend,’ Sam said after he finished presenting the weather.
‘This isn’t just because nobody is beeping. This isn’t a self confidence thing,’ he added, as he took off the sandwich board.
His producer came to collect the sign, appearing completely shocked by the news and jokingly asked: ‘Is she imaginary?’

He went on to reveal they had starting ‘chatting on Instagram’ through a mutual friend, but wouldn’t be putting her on his social media any time soon.
‘Her name is Elle, this is literally as of Saturday so I can’t do that,’ Sam said, adding: ‘It’s a long-term relationship for me.’
