Married At First Sight fans say KC and Drew should just leave show

Married At First Sight viewers branded KC Osborne and Drew Brauer ‘incompatible’ during Sunday night’s episode.

In a series of tweets, fans of the show suggested they have done all they can to salvage their relationship and should just leave the social experiment.

‘KC and Drew are just not compatible,’ one simply stated, while another added: ‘Why were KC and Drew matched together? They are completely different people.’

One noticed the tension between the pair during the commitment ceremony, posting online: ‘You could park a bus between KC and Drew on the sofa.’

Others said it doesn’t matter whether the pair go the distance, claiming that they’re only on the show for fame.

‘Both Drew and KC are going to write ‘stay’ because they need national exposure for their entertainment careers,’ one wrote.

During the commitment ceremony, KC, 31, became emotional as she clashed with Drew, 31, over their opposing values.

KC said she was ‘insulted’ after he accused her of being a ‘materialistic, superficial, Instagram girl’ – but insisted men should pay for dinners when dating.

In contrast, Drew said he feels that things should be equal in relationships, that he ‘doesn’t care about status, fame or money’ and he has different values to KC.

As they first sat down, KC began: ‘He’s just seeing me a certain way. He keeps telling me I’m not his type, and that hurts me because how am I not his type?

‘We are really attracted to each other and we have chemistry. He says, “When I came into this experiment I told the experts what wasn’t my type – and that’s materialistic, superficial, Instagram girl”.

‘He says I’m not all of those things, but I am some of them. That’s insulting to me.’

Drew responded that he does think KC is ‘materialistic’ and feels like she is somebody who ‘wants to hold up an image just to please other people’.

He explained: ‘I definitely think she has come from that world. In my life, I’ve made a conscious effort to stay away from that world and now I’ve been thrown into it.

‘Her idea of a relationship is more being a kept woman. We were out to dinner one night and she said, “Who do you think should pay for dinner?”.’

As Drew explained that he feels things should be equal in relationships, KC said: ‘I think the man should get the dinners. I think a man should just take care of it.

‘He wasn’t saying we could work on that, he just said we see the world differently.’

The pair then argued over the fact that KC previously owned an expensive car in LA, which Drew believed was a ‘waste of money’ and just to ‘uphold an image’.

‘I don’t care about status, fame or money and stuff. They’re not my values,’ he said.

Becoming emotional, KC added: ‘I wish he could just not see me as that person. My values are love, kindness, family and being honest. I am lovable. I’ve never had a guy pick on these things. So I’m wondering what is the right way for me to handle it?’

Despite this KC chose to remain in the experiment, saying: ‘I stand for amazing values and beliefs, and I hope that Drew will see that as time goes on.’

Drew also chose to remain in the experiment for another week with KC.
