Britney Spears calls out Instagram ‘bullies’ who ‘really hurt my feelings’ as she defends her swimsuit posts

Britney Spears has called out Instagram ‘bullies’ for mocking her recent posts.

Telling them their ‘mean comments hurt my feelings’, she asked them to ‘be nice to one another’.

And Britney, 38, made it clear that she read the comments fans left on her posts, including a recent gallery of swimsuit pictures.

Speaking out: Britney Spears defended her swimsuit selfies, posting a comment on Tuesday in which she expressed her hurt feelings over the content of her social media page

‘I’ve read a lot of things online of people criticizing my posts …. saying I post the same 15 pictures with the same red background and wearing the same white bathing suit.’

The My Prerogative singer explained: ‘For me I get really excited about my posts and I like to share them with you all!!! I’ve never owned a white bathing suit before and I simply liked the red background!!!!’

And she told her fans: ‘Reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings.

‘I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know.… this goes for bullying anyone really!!!!!!’

'Really hurts my feelings': She said the mean comments were 'bullying'

And, she said, this was not the time to be mean.

‘Hard times like we are currently living through should really teach us to be nice to one another,’ the Toxic hitmaker went on.

Britney attached her words to a very attention-getting text post which read, in large white block lettering over black: ‘Nobody watches you harder than the people that can’t stand you’.

Selfie splurge: The My Prerogative singer was referring to the multiple images she posted of herself in the white one-piece, often in virtually the same pose

Spears then apologized for a throwback post from Monday in which she shared a video of herself horseback riding from a couple of months ago, which apparently also ruffled some people.

She did also defend the post, saying that she thinks ‘it’s important to see things that bring happiness during hard times and making light of a situation can sometimes help people !!!!’

Finally, Britney signed off by writing, ‘I love you all …. stay safe …. and be nice !!!!!’

The day before the expressive post, the Womanizer songstress uploaded another, similar text post, that contained a message about speaking your mind, even if it makes people feel uncomfortable.
