And now Niall Horan has bagged his very first UK No.1 album as a solo artist with his latest offering Heartbreak Weather, despite being unable to promote it due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The singer-songwriter, 26, revealed the achievement is ‘huge’ for him after working on the record for over a year.

Speaking of his big news, he told MailOnline: ‘It’s huge for me. I spent 14 months on this album and to have it received like this is just incredible for me.’
He added: ‘To get a No.1 is so hard to do, and I mean I live in this country so for the people to wrap their ears around my music in the way they have is just incredible.’
And the No Judgement hitmaker’s success is particularly meaningful to him due to the fact that he revealed so much of himself in the album.

He explained: ‘I try to be as vulnerable as possible In my lyrics and people really relate to that. The most successful stuff throughout history is always the relatable story telling that really connects with people.’
Niall’s No.1 comes amid the star treating fans to Instagram lives this week, as he’d been unable to promote the album in his usual way due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: ‘Yes I have really enjoyed doing the Instagram lives this week. I would obviously have preferred to have been on the relevant tv shows, in the radio stations etc, but being live from the comfort of my own living room has been really fun.
‘It’s been a great way to chat with the fans in their 10’s of thousands and see their reactions to the album.’

Discussing how he’ll be celebrating his No.1, he remarked: ‘I’m going to be celebrating tonight. Ryan Reynolds sent me some of his lovely ‘aviation gin’ so we could be on for a few G&T’s at home tonight!’
The Irish singer previously discussed how he managed to land back in London before President Trump banned travel between the UK and America – where he had been due to promote his latest track.
He told Capital Breakfast host Roman Kemp: ‘I’m in London, I was meant to be in the States this week and heading onto Canada for promotion for my album.
‘But with everything being cancelled and when Trump said about the travel ban between Europe and America, I was thinking to myself, “It’s too good to be true that the UK is the only country you can fly in and out of.”
‘So I was like, “I’m getting myself out of here before it does go into lockdown”. So I was right, and now it’s completely banned.’
