Ashley Roberts continues to work amid coronavirus pandemic

She has been committed to her hosting duties amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

And Ashley Roberts was seen arriving at Global Studios for her Heart Breakfast slot on Tuesday, following government advice to only work if its ‘essential’.

The Pussycat Dolls singer, 38, looked typically in chic in a speckled monochrome shirt dress as she made her way to the studio in central London. 

Ashley was seen getting out of a black car outside the building, as she put her safety first and shunned public transport in accordance with official advice.

The radio presenter teamed her stylish dress with a pair of black stilettos and a pair of kooky cat-eye shades, while carrying her belongings in a chain-strap bag.

Ashley wore her blonde tresses swept back into a low ponytail and opted for a glamorous coat of make-up, including a striking red lip. 

The outing comes after Ashley recently revealed her Heart co-host Amanda Holden would be ‘willing and able’ to join The Pussycat Dolls, after it was announced their tour has been cancelled due to COVID-19 fears 

Of Amanda’s desire to take on a role, Ashley explained: ‘She’s been very vocal about being willing and able. 

‘If we were ever to need someone to step in, she’s available. Mandy would bring a lot of fun and sassiness. She’s an awesome little senorita.’

The pair have often documented their shenanigans at Heart Radio, including doing leg-up poses and pushing each other on wheelie chairs down an empty hallway when they had the office to themselves during the coronavirus outbreak.

Amanda also learned some dance moves from Ashley, including the ‘teepee’ which saw the presenter lift her posterior in the air in a dramatic pose.

Joking about the dance move, Ashley said: ‘I taught her… I’m not sure if she’s got more flexible since meeting me but she surprised me when she did the move. I was like, “Go on, girl”‘.

Amanda presented her breakfast show from home on Thursday in a bid to keep going during the coronavirus pandemic.

And she insisted that she’s practising social distancing with her co-host Ashley Roberts, as they returned to the Heart FM Studios on Friday.

The presenter took to Instagram once again to share a snap of herself and Ashley standing several feet apart, following government advice for people to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus.

The Britain’s Got Talent ensured she was a safe distance from Ashley, and wrote in the caption: ‘Practising #socialdistancing keeping you company @thisisheart – today and every morning!! WE CAN DO THIS.’
