Naomi Watts has been in quarantine the past week, but she appeared to step outside briefly on Monday, and it went rather badly. 

The 51-year-old posted an Instagram photo which showed her foot covered in bird droppings. 

The actress appeared to be standing on a wooden deck of some sort, perhaps at her home.

She captioned the amusing photograph: ‘Good luck? Bad luck?’ referring to the superstition that being pooped on by a bird is good luck. 

Naomi is one of many celebs documenting their self-quarantines on social media. 

She recently took to her Instagram story from a New York City bodega, where she discovered a goldmine of toilet paper, as many grocery stores ran out due to panic buying.

She’s since returned home to Los Angeles, sharing a flight with her pal Gina Gerson, both ladies sporting surgical facemasks in a selfie.

Gina also brought along her gigantic cat Louie, who served as a therapy animal for Watts during the trip. 

The actress also posted a video of herself preparing a batch of ‘Quarantine Soup’ after arriving home to Los Angeles.

She revealed that she didn’t have any onions and wanted to avoid the crowds of a supermarket, so she stepped out to her neighbor Ursula’s house to borrow ingredients.

The mother-of-two has since enjoyed some downtime, taking to her Instagram story with her self-care ritual.

She shared a selfie with cucumber slices on her eyes, writing: ‘Ps. Saving these cucumbers for my G & T later …’
