It comes after Nikki faced backlash late last year, with the announcement she is set to front an upcoming version of Dance Moms Australia.

According to a report in The Daily Telegraph in December, one dance professional described it as ‘the worst thing’ to happen to the industry.

Speaking to the paper, Nikki said she did not want to dwell on negativity and believes the show is great for the Australian dance industry.
