Scream Queens actress Laura Bell Bundy, 38, has tested positive for COVID-19: ‘I am taking all the nutritional supplements, herbs’

Broadway, TV and movie actress Laura Bell Bundy has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

The 38-year-old star, who has appeared in the stage version of Legally Blonde and has been seen on the TV shows Hart Of Dixie and Scream Queens, took to social media to share a video where she talks bout her health. 

‘I have Corona Virus. Going live on Instagram today at 1:30pm to answer any questions you may have about my symptoms and how I’m taking care of myself,’ began the Hairspray on Broadway star.

She was last seen in public at an event on March 8 in LA but the actresses said she also attended an event on March 11.

The blonde continued: ‘Please please stay home, take care of yourselves. God Bless.

‘Do not be alarmed. I am okay. I am taking everything in stride. 

‘I am taking all the nutritional supplements that have been recommended by my doctor. I have been taking herbs for a while as well. 

‘What I wanted to do is explain to you some of the symptoms that I have,’ she said in the video.

‘I believe my symptoms are minor because I have taken care of myself,’ she said.

March 12 she began her quarantine. ‘That day I had a headache and I just assumed it was a headache,’ said the stage star.

‘I began to take some herbs prescribed by my acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine doctor.’

Laura added that she had ‘tightness in my chest and shortness of breath.’

The beauty was tested on March 19 and on March 23 she got the results that she is positive. She added over the weekend she had no symptoms then felt ‘delusional’ for thinking she had it. Bell also thought it could be allergies and she believed maybe she was a hypochondriac.

‘It’s very very scary,’ she added and said her husband has symptoms but not her son.

She addressed that she went to an event before she quarantined and was concerned. ‘More people have this than they realize,’ she added.

She is best known for her role as the original Amber Von Tussle in the musical version of Hairspray.

The actress played the original Elle Woods in the musical version of Legally Blonde – a role Reese Witherspoon had in the movie version.

And Bundy was Dr. Jordan Denby on television’s Anger Management. 

Laura has also starred in several movies including 1995’s Jumanji, 2006’s Dreamgirls and 2015’s Becoming Santa.
