An Italian priest accidentally activated video filters when he began a live-streamed mass amid the nation’s coronavirus lockdown.
The video, which has been viewed more than three million times on Twitter, captures Paolo Longo as he steps back from the camera to begin his Facebook Live service.
But seconds after the stream begins, several filters start to appear over the priest’s face as he attempts to conduct the online mass.
In the hilarious clip, Mr Longo – whose location in Italy is unknown – stands beside a cross and alter dressed in robes as a digital helmet suddenly appears on his head.

The filter then abruptly changes to show a set of animated weights, before yellow confetti falls around the priest and sunglasses appear on his face.
In one moment, Mr Longo appears to grow a magnificent grey beard before his entire face morphs into that of a black and white cat.
He also dons a pink moustache and huge, cartoon eyes appear over his own as the priest continues his Facebook stream unaware of the technical difficulties.
The blunder was posted to Twitter by Gavin Shoebridge, who shared the clip alongside the caption: ‘In Italy today, a priest decided to live-stream a mass due to COVID-19.

Priests across Italy have taken their services online after Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte imposed a national quarantine on March 9, restricting the movement of the population except for necessity, work, and health circumstances amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The nation banned all movement inside the country and closed all non-essential businesses this week as the death toll reached 6,820 with more than 69,000 cases of COVID-19 confirmed.

Officials said on Tuesday that Monday’s death toll of 6,077 had increased by 743, bringing the total number of people who have died from the pandemic to 6,820.
The newly-released figures come after two successive days of them falling, with 602 deaths on Monday and 650 on Sunday.
Italian authorities will be hoping this is an aberration and be buoyed after officially registered new infections rose by just eight percent, the same percentage increase as Monday- the lowest level since Italy registered its first death on February 21.
