Channel Nine has aired a heartfelt promo featuring home video messages from its biggest stars amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The video begins with footage of entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins self-isolating in his living room after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
‘When I got that phone call to tell me that I had tested positive to coronavirus I couldn’t believe it,’ Dickie said.

‘You could have knocked me down with a feather it was the last thing I expected. It hit me like a tonne of bricks… I couldn’t believe it,’ he added.
The next clip showed Weekend Today host Rebecca Maddern at home on the couch.
‘When my colleague Richard Wilkins tested positive to coronavirus I was extremely worried… not for me but for my family and every other person that I’d been I contact with,’ she said.

Elsewhere, David Campbell spoke of his emotional challenges after being tested for coronavirus earlier this month.
He said it was hard not knowing his status (he eventually tested negative) and struggled with being unable to ‘kiss [his] kids goodnight’ or ‘give them a hug when they’re upset’.
The clip continued with a montage of personal messages from other Nine personalities, some of whom included members of their families.

Ben Fordham meanwhile used his video to issue a sobering warning to viewers
‘I know as Australians we tend to think, ‘Oh, mate she’ll be right. We can just do it our own way’, but it’s just not the time for that,’ he implored.
