Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Stars arrive in Sydney ahead of filming anticipated reunion

Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: The cast arrive in Sydney for the reunion – and you’ll never guess which stars aren’t wearing their wedding rings

Married At First Sight’s seventh season comes to an end next week.

And the cast members weren’t giving much away when they arrived in Sydney in mid-January to film the highly-anticipated reunion episode.

Daily Mail Australia caught five participants at the airport in mid-January, a day before filming the reunion. Some were wearing their wedding rings, while others weren’t.

There are four couples left in the series: Seb Guilhaus and Elizabeth Sobinoff, Drew Brauer and KC Osborne, Mishel Karen and Steve Burley, and Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musulin.

Steve and Mishel have been on rocky ground for weeks due to their lack of intimacy, but they kept up appearances upon their arrival in Sydney.

They both flaunted their wedding rings and Mishel even joked: ‘I’m still married! Of course it’s real. It’s on TV, so of course it’s real!’

Connie also smiled as she walked through the arrivals terminal.

When asked how it felt to be back in Sydney for the reunion, she said: ‘It feels good. Pretty excited to see all my mates. It’s going to be good.’

Tellingly, she was no longer wearing her wedding ring, which suggests she is no longer with Jonethen.

Cairns-based musician Drew refused to comment on his relationship status and bizarrely insisted he was in Sydney for a holiday.

KC wasn’t pictured at the airport as she already lives in Cronulla.

Amanda Micallef, who split from Tash Herz early in the season, also arrived for the reunion solo. She said she was enjoying living a ‘normal life’ since leaving the experiment.

On Sunday night, the remaining couples will meet for their final vows.

They will decide whether they want to stay together after the experiment, or break up for good.

Married At First Sight continues on Sunday from 7pm on Channel Nine
