Married At First Sight’s Michael Goonan’s affair with Hayley Vernon has been a sore point for his ‘wife’ Stacey Hampton on the controversial series.
But it seems the tables are about to be turned, as the ice cube company director, 28, has revealed his law-graduate bride, Stacey, 26, is forced to take a lie detector test in an upcoming episode of the show.
He told Hit100.3’s Sam and Rach For Breakfast on Thursday, that the test was performed to ‘support claims and allegations that are about to be made at the next dinner party’.

‘I can confirm a lie detector test has been performed,’ he said.
‘Outside of the show, a lie detector test has been performed to support claims and allegations that are about to get made at the next dinner party.
‘There’s no sitting on the fence anymore.’
Michael also revealed that the lie detector test on Stacey ‘took four hours to do.’

‘They flew some top detective up there to do this lie detector test. It’s all on camera, it’s all going to get released and it’s going to be carnage,’ he explained.

Michael’s revelation comes after OK! Magazine made bombshell claims that Stacey had an affair with groom Mikey Pembroke, 29, during filming.

It’s believed Stacey and Mikey’s ‘affair’ will be exposed through text messages during the anticipated reunion episode.
The reunion will apparently see Michael enraged as he learns the truth.
In February, New Idea and Woman’s Day magazine published explosive text messages which appeared to expose a secret relationship between Stacey and Mikey.

The messages, which were sent during production in October, show a flirty exchange as Mikey suggests a partner swap.
Both Stacey and Mikey acknowledged the texts were genuine in an interview with The Kyle And Jackie O show earlier this month, but Stacey claimed she’d rebuffed his advances.
