Madeleine West was spotted purchasing school supplies, toilet paper and groceries in Ballina on Wednesday.

The Neighbours stars appeared relaxed as she stocked up on a whole host of essentials from the likes of Big W, Priceline and Woolworths.

The 39-year-old beauty cut a casual figure in a black button-up blouse and a pair of blue denim mini-shorts as she went about her business.

The brunette bombshell accentuated her slim, tanned pins by styling the laid back ensemble with a pair of chunky heeled sandals. 

She accessorised her mum-on-the-go look with an always-fashionable cross-body satchel which kept her personal items close as she pushed her trolley across the car park. 

The doting mother shares six children with husband Shannon Bennet – Phoenix, 14, Hendrix, 12, Xascha, nine, Xanthe, eight and six-year-old twins, Xalia and Margaux.

Aside from an array of household essentials, Madeleine also picked up a Peppa Pig colouring book and what appeared to be a four-pack of alcohol.

The Satisfaction actress was lucky to snag a large pack of toilet paper amid the nationwide stockpiling crisis, as well as a hefty bag of other groceries. 

Madeleine is well known for her charity work and hasn’t let the coronavirus pandemic stop her from continuing to help those in need. 

Sharing a post to Instagram on Tuesday, she revealed she recently spent time volunteering at Melbourne’s Asylum Seeker Resource Centre food bank.

‘Refugees and asylum seekers were ushered in just two at a time from a queue that would stretch for hours, to choose from two weeks of goods left to feed over 300 desperate families,’ Madeleine wrote. 

‘This is coronavirus and it hits the stateless hardest, those who are now staring down the very real possibility of no food AT ALL for the next few months,’ she wrote.  

‘No Medicare. Zero income, No access to adequate housing, up to 700 everyday visiting this site for what scant groceries remain.’

Madeleine completed her post by encouraging others to volunteer.

‘Often those who perceive a risk too great because they have so much to lose actually have the least,’ she warned.
