Robin Wright shares sweet childhood snap of daughter Dylan Penn with old pal Emma Roberts

There is something special about old friendships.

Robin Wright shared a heart-melting Instagram snap Thursday of her daughter Dylan Penn and Eric Roberts’ daughter Dylan Penn as toddlers.

‘Looking through old photo albums,’ wrote Robin, 53, in the caption: ‘Sending love to these babies @iamdylanpenn @emmaroberts’.

The photo showed Robin simultaneously cradling Dylan and Emma, who are almost exactly two months apart in age.

Robin shares Dylan, 28, with her second ex-husband Sean Penn, whom she was married to from 1996 until 2010.

Meanwhile Eric, who is the elder brother of movie queen Julia Roberts, shares Dylan with his ex-girlfriend Kelly Cunningham.

Emma and Dylan have stayed friends into adulthood, and were seen for example posing up together at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles in 2015.

Eric starred in the 1989 martial arts movie Best Of The Best with the late actor Chris Penn, who was Sean’s brother.

In a more recent family connection Julia and Sean are slated to co-star in Gaslit, an upcoming drama show about the Watergate scandal.

Adapted from the Slate podcast Slow Burn, the show is created by Sam Esmail of Mr. Robot fame and also stars Armie Hammer and Joel Edgerton.

Eric has been married since 1992 to the actress Eliza Roberts. Robin married her current husband, businessman Clement Giraudet, in Provence in 2018.

Dylan will be in the upcoming movie Flag Day directed by her father, while Emma can be seen as Yoga Pants in the new satirical movie The Hunt.
