The Block couple Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie announce they will be sharing budget renovation tips in videos filmed at their $1.7 million Newport home while in isolation

The Block’s Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie are sharing their renovation expertise with fans while they are stuck in isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Couple Mitch, 56, and Mark, 57, announced the new venture on Instagram on Saturday.

The renovating superstars revealed they would be filming a series of budget tips in the Newport, Sydney home.

They did not yet reveal where the clips will be shared, but posed for a photo shoot to promote the venture. 

They told fans in an Instagram post: ‘It’s time to get our @theblock reno groove back on while we’re practicing home isolation.

‘Let’s make good of a bad situation!! Join us as we see what we can share with limited budget and what we have at home!!!’

A controversial pair on the show last year, known for stirring some drama, Mitch and Mark were the favourites to win The Block, but they ultimately finished last.

The stylish granddads won a healthy prize money of $384,000 despite the disappointing finish.
