AJ and Curtis Pritchard swap pyjamas for suits in third Dress Up, Dance, Donate tutorial

AJ Pritchard and his brother Curtis trade in their mismatch pyjamas for business suits to teach the third set of moves to their Dress Up, Dance, Donate routine.

Former Strictly professional AJ, 25, and Love Island star Curtis, 24, are on a mission to raise money for NHS staff that are working tirelessly to beat coronavirus by getting the nation to come together to learn a simple dance.

In short tutorials shared to their social media pages the brothers plan to teach the routine in small parts – with the third instalment showing AJ and Curtis suited and booted.

AJ begins the video by saying: ‘This is part three and I feel like I need to get dressed up because, well I’ve been in my pyjamas for two weeks so I put a suit on.’

Curtis, who begins the clip on his knees, jokes that he’s come dressed as his considerably shorter brother and says: ‘Everything’s so tall,’ before AJ replies: ‘That’s not very nice.’

The boys started off their journey this week dressed in pyjamas before changing into gym clothes and now suits as they hope to inspire those watching to raid their own wardrobes.

In the final set of moves, AJ demonstrates his flair for dance by performing a salsa wave, in scenes reminiscent to his time on Strictly.

In the very first tutorial, Curtis said: ‘Welcome to the first tutorial of our Dress Up, Dance and Donate, as you can see we’re in pyjamas, it’s cold in here, it’s freezing in here.’

The Love Islander led the video while ex-Strictly star AJ followed as the two taught a few basic moves, including a side step and shoulder shimmy.

In part two the brothers swapped their loungewear for workout clothes, with AJ sporting a yellow top and fluorescent green trainers.

Curtis taught the next set of moves wearing a vest tucked into a tight pair of cycling shorts as the pair teamed up for their first project together since AJ announced his departure from Strictly.

Speaking to MailOnline about the initiative this week, Curtis said: ‘A lot of people are going to be spending more time on their bum at the moment due to being at home and unable to go anywhere.

‘We thought lets get everybody dancing and doing the thing we love.

‘So we’ve created a short, easy to learn dance, it will be three to four videos and then we will have the final video of the dance and it’s all about fancy dress.

‘Dress Up, Dance and Donate, we want people to donate as much money as possible to the NHS and we want the kids to dress up.

‘Whatever you’ve got at home, whether it be bin bags or toilet paper or your favourite superhero, anything in your house that you can create a fancy dress, do it.’

Curtis continued: ‘We want everyone to dance it together on April 5, which is this Sunday.

‘The song we will be dancing to is September by Justin Timberlake, it’s the version from the film Trolls.

‘We want everyone to film what they’ve done and hash tag #DressUpDanceDonate so we can repost everything and create a little compilation of all of the videos and just have fun with it really.’

AJ added: ‘The three tutorials of us creating the dance… it’s different to anything we’ve ever done.

‘I was a bit delirious when we filmed them because I agreed to wearing my socks very high up, my gym clothes looked like I had just come out of a random film, we were half in suits as well as pyjamas, it’s all I could grab in the short space of time.

‘We literally just found stuff and wore random things. We don’t know what we’re going to wear on Sunday when we do it live with everybody though.’
