Holly Willoughby goes make-up free for a Zoom call with Emma Bunton and pals

She’s been continuing her presenting duties on This Morning as well as homeschooling her three children during the coronavirus lockdown.

So it was little wonder Holly Willoughby made the most of her time off on Friday as she enjoyed a Zoom call with Emma Bunton and other pals.

The TV star, 39, shared a snap of herself with her four friends on Instagram, with Holly looking particularly radiant as she appeared to go make-up free for the call.

The snap showed the five ladies smiling away at the camera as they caught up with each other during the virtual chat.

As well as Holly and Emma, the group also included All Saints star Nicole Appleton, PR guru Niki de Metz and Shiarra Bell, who is head of artist relations at Universal Music.

Captioning the snap, Holly wrote: ‘Oh I miss these faces so much… apart and yet totally connected… miss my girls…’

All the ladies also shared the same snap on their own respective Instagram accounts, with Spice Girl Emma captioning her snap writing: ‘Girls that do lunch but in a different way! Love you all.’

The ladies have been pals for years and regularly enjoyed fun outings before the COVID-19 pandemic swept the nation.

In December, the girls (minus Nicole and with Christine Lampard) enjoyed a Champagne-fuelled £400 lunch during a lavish vintage train experience.

Holly uploaded a snap of the event to her Instagram, with the host looking sensational as she got on board the Belmond British Pullman train and raised her glass flute in the air.

During their girls day out the women enjoyed a performance from a musical Butler who sang Do You Here The People Sing from musical Les Misérables.

They were also treated to a few songs from the Spitfire Sisters who kicked off the entertainment at London’s Victoria station and then visited the train’s carriages.

The Belmond British Pullman celebrates the ‘roaring 20s and 30s’ and each carriage has been restored so visitors can experience the glamour of vintage rail travel.

Elsewhere, Holly recently shocked fans after quitting Celebrity Juice after 12 years.

However, she recently revealed that she fully intends to return to the show as a guest, in scenes from Thursday’s Celebrity Juice.

The TV presenter promised co-star Keith Lemon she would be back for ‘special occasions’ as they reflected on her time in the special episode, titled Show Us Your Best Bits.

Speaking to each other via video-link from their homes, Keith said: ‘We’ve had some fun times over the past 12 years, haven’t we?’

While Holly reminisced: ‘We really have, we’ve laughed a lot.’

Keith added that he was going to miss Holly, and she gushed: ‘I know, I’m going to miss you too… lots!’

Hoping she would return, Keith asked: ‘Will you come back on special appearances on my birthday or something like that?’

To which Holly promised: ‘Absolutely, like try and keep me away, I will be back.

‘Obviously I wont be team captain anymore because that will go to someone very very lucky but I will be back on the panel, I’ll come and play stupid games with you.’

It comes after Keith admitted that he nearly quit Celebrity Juice after he was left ‘gutted’ over Holly’s shock exit.

Keith and Holly started presenting the show alongside Fearne Cotton, who left in 2018, in 2008 – meaning Keith is the last man standing from the original lineup.
