Gogglebox’s Isabelle Silbery finds love with new boyfriend Alex Richards

Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery has found love again just months after splitting with her last boyfriend.

The 35-year-old has found love with Melbourne-based Alex Richards.

In a column for Mamamia, the reality star admitted that she had started isolating during the pandemic with her new beau after just a couple of dates.

‘COVID boyfriend (Alex) and I have been isolating together since the pandemic began, when we had only been on a couple of dates,’ she wrote.

Isabelle said that she wanted to apply many of the lessons she’d learned from years of therapy and past relationships to her new romance with Alex.

‘Firstly, at 35 years old, it’s honestly the first time I’ve felt truly equal in a relationship. I don’t just mean financially or intellectually, but as though my views matter,’ she continued.

‘It’s the first time someone actually gets me, sees what I’ve been through, but also won’t allow that to sabotage our relationship.’

Isabelle split with her last boyfriend, Luke Gordon, right before Christmas.

Back in February, the mother-of-one penned an emotional post for Mamamia about spending Valentine’s Day ‘nursing a broken heart.’

The brunette was open about her pain, admitting that she missed Luke ‘terribly’ and thought he was ‘the one.’

However, she seems to have fully bounced back from heartbreak with her new boyfriend Alex.

Isabelle separated from her husband-of-five years, Craig Silbery, in 2017 and has previously described their marriage as ‘loveless’.

Isabelle and Craig tied the knot in 2011 in a beach side ceremony.
