Big Brother: Chantelle Houghton’s ‘I Want It All’ to be released

I Want It All – the ‘fake pop song’ made famous by ‘fake celebrity’ Chantelle Houghton on Celebrity Big Brother 4 – is being officially released, after fans demanded it.

Viewers of the iconic reality series got to re-watch the song being performed on a recent edition of Big Brother: Best Shows Ever and flocked to Twitter to implore producers to make it available to stream.

And from Friday, the track will be downloadable on Spotify, thanks to Universal Music Group.

It’s a hit! I Want It All – the ‘fake pop song’ made famous by ‘fake celebrity’ Chantelle Houghton on Celebrity Big Brother 4 – is being officially released, after fans demanded it

The track came about when Chantelle was sent into the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2006 tasked with tricking the famous residents into believing she was part of fictitious girl band Kandy Floss.

Chantelle had to perform their ‘hit-song’ I Want It All, which helped secure her place in the house, and ultimately win the series.

After the re-airing of the episode last week, Big Brother has listened to the demand for the song and have decided to release it.

A playlist titled Big Brother: Best Songs Ever, inspired by the music used in Big Brother across the past 20 years, can be streamed too.

Davina McCall and Rylan Clark-Neal have been digging through the archives of the show, plucking their favourite instalments from the surveillance series as it celebrates its 20th birthday.

As well as being able to re-watch the moment Chantelle was forced to sing the fake pop song, fans have witnessed other classic moments, such as George Galloway and Rula Lenska’s cat reenactment, Ivana Trump’s shock entrance to the CBB house, and Nikki Grahame’s infamous ‘Who Is She?’ tantrum.

But it was Chantelle’s perfomance that had fans feeling the most nostalgic, as she watched the non-singer murder the track in front of the other housemates, which included the likes of Pete Burns, Jodie Marsh and singer Preston, who she ended up getting married to.

Chantelle belted out the song, although famously clutched hold of the lyrics as she did so and failed to hold a tune.

Yet fans were desperate to have the song released in the charts, or to have it available to stream.

One fan demanded: ‘Can they release the song after this episode please?’

‘ITS TIME FOR POP PRINCESS CHANTELLE TO MAKE HER DEBUT AGAIN!’ another added.

A third posted: ‘Chantelle, please release I Want It Right Now!’
