An Australian woman has shared the bizarre cleaning hack she used to transform her shower screens in a matter of minutes.
Gozde, from Melbourne, applied the $3 Jif Cream Cleaner onto the shower glass then, instead of using a sponge or magic eraser, she placed a plastic bag over her hand to wipe it down.
Posting to the Mums Who Clean Facebook group, she said the trick worked very well and there was no scrubbing required.
‘So I was told about this hack to clean shower screens and decided to try myself, OMG!’ she wrote.

‘Sprinkle some Jiff onto your screens and get a plastic bag, yes you heard that right, wear it like a glove and wash your screens. It works!’
‘It keeps it clean for so long! And it is so easy – no scrubbing needed and nothing else to clean it with,’ Gozde said, adding: ‘Try it and thank me later!’
To achieve sparkling results, Gozde said it’s important to wet the screen first, then use the plastic bag followed by a rinse.
Either the Jif cream or the powder alternative can be used and both can be purchased from Woolworths or other leading supermarkets.

The unusual cleaning trick surprised many other mums online – and while some thought the idea was odd, many were eager to try it.
‘I’m definitely trying this!’ one woman said.
‘I use Jif all the time but will use a plastic bag and see what that does,’ another said.
A third added: ‘I have never used anything other than Jif to clean my shower – love it!’

‘It worked brilliantly for the shower glass! I did only have the dissolvable tablets and [it] still works,’ the woman wrote.
The modified sponge will clean your shower or bathroom surfaces and leave it looking spotless.
To combine the two products together, cut a small indent inside the magic sponge that’s the size of the dishwashing tablet, then place the tablet into the slot.
Prior to starting the cleaning transformation, be sure to use a small amount of water before applying to a surface.
