Mark Wright asks Robbie Williams to use his baby name

Mark Wright has asked for Robbie Williams’ permission to name his future daughter Theodora, the same as one of the singer’s children.

The former TOWIE star, 33, interviewed the hitmaker, 46, on his Heart Radio evening show where he revealed his wife Michelle Keegan is a fan of the names Theodora and Teddy, which is what Robbie’s daughter is nicknamed.

Speaking to Robbie, Mark said: ‘I’ve got something to ask you actually, in case this happens.

‘Me and my wife, we’re not trying for kids yet, I’m gonna state that, however we hopefully one day will have kids and she loves both ‘Teddy’ and ‘Theodora’, right, and said – I mean she saw a picture I think of you and the family – and said ‘Oh I love that name so much’.

‘I’m asking you, if it comes to it and she wants to call the kid Theodora or Teddy, are you gonna be alright with that?’

Robbie insisted he would have no problem with it considering he ‘stole’ the name himself from The Rolling Stones musician Keith Richards.

He said: ‘Listen… it was Keith Richards has a daughter called Theodora and I remember back in the day, maybe 20 years ago, thinking what a beautiful name’.

‘So I stole it from Keith Richards so don’t you worry about that! Also, you can have the ‘Theodora’ but Teddy is Teddy and she will always be Teddy to me.

‘Mum – Ayda – made me call her the long name just in case she wants to be a professional of some sort but she’s just Teddy, you know.’

Robbie tied the knot with Ayda Field in 2010 and the couple are parents to Teddy, seven, Charlton, five, Colette, one, and Beau, five months.

It comes after Mark recently admitted he still ‘can’t believe his luck’ to be married to Michelle, adding that she has a ‘cracking set of abs’.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: ‘Michelle is extremely fit and definitely stronger than me in a few areas – I’m not saying she can lift more weights, but she can do a plank longer, she’s better at squatting, and she’s got a cracking set of abs.

‘I think every man and every woman can’t believe their luck when it comes to their partner, that’s why they married them, because they love them, so yeah, I am a very happy man.’

The presenter added: ‘Lockdown has allowed us to be b in our home a lot more, we’ve been at home with our dogs and that is definitely a positive I’m taking out of lockdown.’

Mark said lockdown has allowed him ‘live in the moment and enjoy it’.
