Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. head out and get some fresh air

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. escaped their quarantine lockdown by going on a bike ride with their kids.

The 43-year-old Gellar and 44-year-old Prinze Jr. were spotted pedaling around their neighborhood in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actors were followed by their two children, 10-year-old daughter Charlotte and seven-year-old son Rocky. 

Gellar was spotted wearing a white tank top and grey sweats as she rode a hot pink mountain bike.

She was also staying safe with the help of a white bike helmet and a yellow bandanna wrapped around her head, covering her face and mouth.

She completed her look with a pair of dark Aviator sunglasses, grey sweats and sneakers.

Her husband Prinze Jr. was seen rocking a blue Joshua Tree t-shirt plus a blue-green bicycle helmet.

He also wore black shorts and blue sneakers while riding his mountain bike with his family.

The couple met while filming the 1997 horror-thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, though their romantic relationship didn’t begin until 2000. 

The couple were engaged in April 2001 and married in September 2002, the same year they shared the screen as Fred and Daphne in Scooby-Doo.

They also worked together on the 2004 sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and voiced roles in the 2007 animated film Happily N’Ever After.

They most recently starred in the animated series Star Wars Rebels, with Gellar voicing Seventh Sister and Prinze Jr. voicing Kanan Jarrus. 

Gellar also recently reunited with her Cruel Intentions co-star Selma Blair, as they re-created their Cruel Intentions kiss for Blair’s 48th birthday.

Gellar has also signed on to voice Teela in the new Masters of the Universe animated TV series, and star in the mini-series Sometimes I Lie. 

Prinze Jr. has signed on to play Travis in the upcoming Punky Brewster remake, playing the ex-husband of Soleil Moon Frye’s title character.
