However, Xavier was not there to perform.

Xavier, who is also a paramedic, was side of stage with Ricki-Lee to provide emergency assistance if a death-defying stunt went wrong.

To make his act even more dangerous, Apollo – real name is Jake Spence – doused himself with gasoline and set himself alight.

‘I don’t know what’s gong to happen… but, death is definitely on the cards with this one,’ Xavier told host Ricki-Lee.

He was waiting in the wings with his emergency medical bag and looked on concerned as Apollo’s arm caught on fire during the stunt.

Luckily, Xavier didn’t need to perform his duties as a medic, as Apollo pulled off the stunt to the shock, and relief, of the show’s celebrity judges and audience.
