Emilia Clarke wears sun dress on dog walk with mystery man

She admitted back in March that she’s found dating life tough.

But Emilia Clarke looked in great spirits as she enjoyed a park date with a handsome mystery man on Monday.

The Game of Thrones actress was spotted deep in conversation with her male friend as they walked her dog Ted in a London park.

Emilia, 33, dressed for the sunny weather in a pretty floral print mini dress, showing off her legs for the park outing.

She teamed the white sun dress with a slouchy cardigan and pumps, adding a pair of statement shades.

Her friend matched the actress’ casual vibe in a blue button-up shirt and white shorts, teamed with a wide-brimmed hat.

The pair strolled side by side, enjoying an animated chat before taking a break on the grass, sitting close to one another. 

Last year it reported that Emilia had split from her director boyfriend Charlie McDowall after about a year of dating, with work commitments being to blame.

Charlie is now dating Lily Collins and the duo have been seen out and about in Los Angeles in the midst of the global pandemic.

Emilia confirmed her single status in March, saying: ‘I am single right now. Dating in this industry is interesting. I have a lot of funny anecdotes, a lot of stuff I can say at a fun dinner. I was [dating actors] but I’m not now.’

The star also dated Family Guy’s Seth McFarlane for six months in 2012 and 2013.

Emilia has been isolating with friends in London after her West End play The Seagull, which she made her debut in on March 11, was suspended during lockdown.

The play was due to run until May, but London’s West End remains closed in accordance with government restrictions.

Emilia joined a host of stars this month, voicing her support for the arts and sharing her memories from work, writing on Instagram: ‘I was lucky enough to have the best dad in the entire world, (sorry other dads but it’s true) and he was a Sound Desginer for the theatre, that gave me back stage access to a magical world of make believe that made me who I am today’

‘I was also lucky enough to train for three years at drama school that gave me my ride or die friends for life.’

‘Then I was lucky enough to be a part of the best cast in the entire world (sorry other casts but it’s true) and perform the best play in the entire world (sorry other plays but it’s true) The Seagull by Anton Chekov.’ 

‘The true spellbinding magic that is telling stories on stage has been my life’s blood passed down through my darling dad and I cannot fathom a world where this art form does not exist.’

‘#savethearts has never been more important, we need it, we need it, we need it, without stories to tell I don’t know how we can find our own places of safety and escapism, empathy and love.’
