Country singer Luke Combs marries fiancée and ‘best friend’ Nicole Hocking in intimate Florida ceremony: ‘Best day of my life’

Luke Combs and his longtime fiancée Nicole Hocking exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony, on Saturday in Florida.

The bride and groom, who first began dating in 2016, looked blissful, as they wrapped their arms around each other for a series of loved-up wedding pictures at the beach.

‘Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever,’ the 30-year-old country star captioned a snap of himself next to Hocking, who wore a dreamy off-the-shoulder white gown.

‘Luke and Nicole were married at their home in southern Florida with family on Aug. 1,’ a rep confirmed to People. ‘Despite the threat of a hurricane, the couple had a lovely intimate ceremony and will be celebrating with friends and family in the new year.’

On Hocking’s Instagram, she also gushed about their ‘most special day’ and getting to ‘spend the rest’ of her life Combs.

‘Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!’ Hocking wore under a photo with her husband, who sported a navy jacket and khakis pants, laughing with a lavish bouquet in her right hand.

Both images featured the pair standing in front of a glorious, pink-hued sunset with crashing waves behind them.

Despite the storm warning, Hocking looked every inch the blushing bride as her long blonde hair cascaded past her shoulders.

As he gazed at his wife, Combs flashed a massive grin and garnered best wishes from his nearly three million followers in the comment section.

In May, the lovebirds shared intimate details about their engagement and meeting through mutual friends on Couple Things with Shawn + Andrew.

While initially maintaining a platonic relationship, sparks first flew when they both found themselves single at the 2016 Key West Songwriter’s Festival.

‘I didn’t have anything going on when we met,’ the superstar explained. ‘I didn’t have a record deal, or a publishing deal, anything.’

As he hustled to jumpstart his career, Hocking worked seven days a week between two jobs.

Eventually, she joined him on the road, so she didn’t ‘all those first moments’ and because Combs ‘would miss her not being there’ on tour.

In fall 2018, he popped the question in their new kitchen, as they prepared to move from their Nashville apartment to their first house together.

‘She said yes a while ago, but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen,’ the Beautiful Crazy announced on Instagram with photos in Maui.

In the snaps, he can be seen kissing her head, as she beams into the camera.

‘You’re stuck with me forever,’ Hocking joked, as her man gushed that he couldn’t ‘wait to spend forever’ with her in his sweet Instagram caption.
